Black Space Matters (2016) Projection Mapping, Public Mural

Black Space Matters is the multimedia pop-up collaboration of two black owned art spaces, Art and Sol Studios (Wynwood, FL) and Alena Museum (Oakland, CA) with the common goal of exhibiting emerging and underrepresented artists during one of the biggest art weeks in the world: Art Basel Miami Beach.

Abyssurdian Productions curated a roster of Bay Area muralists and artists to attend the art fair and present their work, and created a 35ft mural and video installation for Miami Art Week 2016. Participating artists in Black Space Matters:
