Exit (2014) Short Film, Narrative

Exit navigates the ambivalent, teenage love life of a young Egyptian girl in modern day Luxor. Starring acclaimed dancer and actress Yasmeen Hawary, the short film was shot at the historic Valley of the Queens, specifically based at the temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Exit was created during the 2014 Haile Gerima Alternative Film Production Workshop, a film program in partnership with the Luxor African Film Festival.
